Nandi partners with aspiring scientific founders from the Texas Medical Center life sciences ecosystem and beyond to design and develop novel best-in-class therapies for oncology, auto-immune and rare diseases.

Our world-class team is uniquely comprised of pre-eminent scientists, MDs and PhDs with decades of experience in research and development, clinical medicine and commercialization. Our panel of strategic advisors consists of industry leading company creators with recent relevant operational experience in systemically important biotech and pharmaceutical corporations and deep networks in east and west coast life sciences venture capital hubs.
Our Home at The Texas Medical Center
The Texas Medical Center (TMC) is the largest medical complex in the world. TMC is at the forefront of advancing life sciences as the 8th largest business district in the US with 21 hospitals, generating $35B GDP. MD Anderson Cancer Center is the number one cancer research center in the US. With over 10M patients a year, it is the ideal location for proof-of-concept oncology and rare disease trials. TMC cancer researchers are supported by the $6B Cancer Prevention Institute of Texas fund (CPRIT), the second largest medical research fund in the US, only surpassed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Within this ecosystem, Nandi is working with scientists from MD Anderson Cancer Center, Rice University, Baylor College of Medicine, University of Texas (UT) Houston and UT Southwestern to build a pipeline of oncology and rare disease biotechs.
Origins of our name
At Nandi Life Sciences we are fighting against cancer and rare diseases.
Queen Nandi was the revered and beloved mother of Shaka, the Zulu King of South Africa. She is known for her fearless, nurturing nature and her capacity to bear strong warriors that were conditioned to overcome adversity and win legendary battles.
